Ligue 1 friendlies: Lyon and Le Havre secure wins and more!

AJ Auxerre 1-1 US Orléans

In their clash with fellow French club US Orléans, the newly promoted AJ Auxerre saw Ado Onaiwu score in the tenth minute. Les Guêpes leveled the scoring in the 61st minute, and the contest ended in a 1-1 draw.

Lyon 3-2 WSG Tirol

Corentin Tolisso had an impressive preseason contest as the veteran midfielder scored a brace in the first 45 minutes against the Austrian side. WSG Tirol did score two goals in the second half to level the scoring, but Maxence Caqueret scored the third goal for Lyon as OL secured the win.

OGC Nice 2-2 Leganés

Franck Haise and his team opened the scoring against the Spanish side thanks to a goal from Jeremie Boga in the 18th minute. Leganés scored two unanswered goals to take a 2-1 lead, but Billal Brahimi provided a goal in the 83rd minute to level the scoring as the game ended in a 2-2 draw.

Le Mans FC 2-0 Angers SCO

The team that plays in the Championnat National secured the surprising 2-0 win, where they scored a goal in the first and second half.

Stade Brestois 1-1 FC Lorient

Brest opened the scoring late in the first half, courtesy of a goal from Jérémy Le Douaron. Lorient leveled the scoring toward the end of the second half, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Havre AC 7-0 Fougères

Le Havre had an impressive preseason match with Daler Kuzyayev and Antoine Joujou scoring a brace in the first half.

RC Lens 1-0 OH Louvain

The friendly between the two teams seemed poised to end in a goalless draw, but Wesley Saïd broke the deadlock with a late goal in the second half, securing a 1-0 victory for RC Lens.

LOSC Lille 2-2 KRC Genk

Lille took a 1-0 lead over Genk courtesy of a goal from Mohamed Bayo in the seventh minute. The Belgium side scored two unanswered goals to take a 2-1 lead, but Rémy Cabella scored in the 75th minute to level the scoring and the match ended in a 2-2 draw.

AS Monaco 2-2 Sturm Graz

In an exciting 2-2 draw, Monaco relied on goals from Takumi Minamino and Eliot Matazo to equalize. Minamino converted a penalty kick in the 33rd minute, while Matazo struck in the 57th minute to secure the draw.

Montpellier HSC 3-3 Girona

Girona and Montpellier also played to a thrilling draw. Arnaud Nordin opened the scoring in the 19th minute. The Spanish side scored two unanswered goals to take a 2-1 lead into halftime. In the second half, Wahbi Khazri scored a brace to help the French club secure the draw.

Hamburger SV 4-2 Nantes

Nantes took a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Adel Mahamoud in the 10th minute and Nicolas Pallois in the 26th minute. The French side wouldn't hold onto the lead as Hamburger SV scored four goals in the second half.

Stade Rennais 2-1 Stade Lavallois

Albert Grønbæk opened the scoring for Rennes in the first half, but Stade Lavallois leveled the scoring in the 46th minute. Alan Do Marcolino found the back of the net in the 73rd minute as the goal handed the Ligue 1 club the win.

AS Saint-Etienne 1-1 Clermont Foot 63

In a duel between two French teams, Clermont Foot's Maïdine Douane scored in the 18th minute to open the scoring. Louis Mouton responded in the 81st minute for Saint-Etienne to level the scoring 1-1.

Toulouse FC 2-2 Pau FC

Zakaria Aboukhlal opened the scoring for Toulouse in the 17th minute and Les Violets would take a 2-0 lead after an own-goal in the 38th minute. Pau FC did respond with two goals in the second half as the contest ended in a 2-2 draw.

Nîmes Olympique 2-0 Olympique de Marseille

Marseille conceded two goals, one late in the first half and the other early in the second half, as Nîmes Olympique pulled off the surprising victory in this friendly matchup.
