The final of Euro 2024 saw Spain crowned campeones of Europe for a record-breaking fourth time, as Paris Saint-Germain's Fabian Ruiz succeeded former Parisien Marco Verratti as the previous edition's champions. Featuring in all of Spain's matches at Euro 2024, Ruiz has been quietly dominating in La Roja's midfield. In six appearances the PSG man has scored two goals, registered two assists, and made 10 key passes as Spain tied-up silverware for the first time since 2012. He was level with fellow Spaniard Dani Olmo on goal-creating actions (5).

Georges Mikautadze: Georgia & Ligue 1's Euro 2024 top scorer! 

After shining in Ligue 1 with Metz in the 2023-2024 season with 14 goals, Georges Mikautadze announced himself on the international stage at Euro 2024 in style. In their first-ever major tournament, Georgia managed to reach the last sixteen, before being knocked out by Spain (1-5). Mikautadze would score three goals and end up as joint-top scorer on three goals along with Cody Gakpo, Harry Kane, Jamal Musiala, Dani Olmo, Ivan Schranz. The forward also managed an assist, just Behind Fabian Ruiz (2).

Ligue 1 at Euro 2024: The numbers

Eight goals were scored by Ligue 1 players at Euro 2024, including the three scored by Georgia's Mikautadze as well as the two scored by Fabian Ruiz. Monaco frontman Breel Embolo grabbed two goals, with PSG's Randal Kolo Muani also getting on the scoresheet against Spain in the semi-final of the competition.

PSG man Ousmane Dembélé was statistically an effective dribbler during the tournament, with the Frenchman completing the most progressive carries (32) as well as attempting the most crosses (36) during the tournament.
