It was a convincing win for OM as Mason Greenwood recorded a hat-trick in the victory. Jonathan Rowe and Facundo Medina were the other two Marseille players to get on the scoring sheet against Excelsior Maassluis.
Morgan Guilavogui led the way in this impressive win, recording a brace in the first half for Lens in the preseason win. The other three goal scorers for Lens were Anthony Bermont, Rayan Fofana, and Wesley Saïd.
