Ligue 1 McDonald's clubs continue to prepare for the 2025-26 season. Here's the latest roundup of friendly results from this past weekend if you missed any of the action.

Angers 1-0 Caen

It was a tightly contested match between the two French clubs, but a goal in the seventh minute from Esteban Lepaul proved to be the difference maker, allowing for Angers to leave with the win.

Nottingham Forest 0-0 AS Monaco

Monaco played their second straight friendly against an English club after defeating Coventry City a few days earlier. Adi Hütter and his team took on Nottingham Forest, but neither side could break the scoreless deadlock as the match would finish in a draw.

Lorient 1-1 CA Osasuna

After earning promotion, Lorient are preparing to stay past this season in Ligue 1 McDonald's and Les Merlus took on Osasuna this weekend. All the scoring came in the second half with Ander Yoldi giving the Spanish side the one-goal lead, but Formose Mendy scored in the 74th minute to level the scoring and that's how the contest would finish.

FC Metz 4-0 Red Star

Another club that earned promotion was Metz, and they had an impressive four-goal win over Red Star. The Ligue 1 McDonald's club had four different goal scorers in the victory with Cheikh Sabaly, Giorgi Tsitaishvili, Morgan Bokele, and Sadibou Sané all finding the back of the net.

En Avant Guingamp 2-1 Nantes

Guingamp took the lead in the 33rd minute but Nantes responded in the 37th minute thanks to a goal from Mostafa Mohamed. Guingamp would find the second goal on a penalty kick in the second half to secure the win over Nantes.

Le Mans 1-0 Le Havre

Thanks to a goal in the 12th minute, Le Mans took the victory from Le Havre as the early strike was all they needed.

OGC Nice 3-3 Nancy

It was a high-scoring affair between the two French clubs with Nancy opening the scoring in the sixth minute. Nice responded in the 20th minute thanks to a goal from Tom Louchet to level the scoring and then took the lead in the 30th minute courtesy of a strike from Antoine Mendy. Nancy leveled the scoring in the second half, but Nice scored in the 90th minute to take the lead off a goal from Bernard Nguene. Nonetheless, Nancy again leveled the contest as the score ended three-all.

Lyon 1-0 Villefranche Beaujolais

The only goal of the match came in the second half off a penalty kick strike from Corentin Tolisso as OL came away with the win.

Marseille 5-0 Excelsior Maassluis

It was a convincing win for OM as Mason Greenwood recorded a hat-trick in the victory. Jonathan Rowe and Facundo Medina were the other two Marseille players to get on the scoring sheet against Excelsior Maassluis.

Lens 5-1 USL Dunkerque

Morgan Guilavogui led the way in this impressive win, recording a brace in the first half for Lens in the preseason win. The other three goal scorers for Lens were Anthony Bermont, Rayan Fofana, and Wesley Saïd.
