With four rounds to go in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats season, find out how the play-offs work and when they will be played.

Following the final round of the regular league season, the Play-offs are played in a two-legged format, pitting the 18th-placed Ligue 1 Uber Eats team against the winner of the Ligue 2 BKT Play-offs. The first leg is played at the home of the Ligue 2 BKT team and the second leg is played at the home of the top-flight team. The aggregate winner over two legs will play in Ligue 1 Uber Eats the following season, while the loser will play in Ligue 2 BKT.

The rules in case of a tie in the playoffs:

1. If both teams have scored the same number of goals in both games, the team that has scored more goals away from home wins.

2. If this process does not result in a decision, i.e. if both teams have scored the same number of goals at home and the same number of goals away, the return match shall be extended by two periods of 15 minutes each. The winning team will be the one that scores the most goals in this supplementary period.

3. If both teams score the same number of goals during extra time, the away goals will count double (i.e. the visiting team will qualify).

4. If no goals are scored during extra time, a penalty shootout will determine which team wins.
