Ahead of the Copa América kicking off on Thursday, we look at the links to Ligue 1 across all four groups of the competition, continuing with Group B

Pot 1: Mexico

Mexico have had two internationals feature in Ligue 1 Uber Eats, and in Guillermo 'Memo' Ochoa and Rafa Marquez, they are two of El Tri's most totemic players. Marquez was a standout for AS Monaco's defence two decades ago, while Ochoa regularly turned in heroic performances for AC Ajaccio over his three seasons on Corscia. But with Marquez having retired several years ago and Ochoa not picked by manager Jaime Lozano, the former Pumas player having opted for a younger squad for this tournament, this Mexico side has no connections to Ligue 1 Uber Eats.

Pot 2: Ecuador

Three Ecuadorians have featured in Ligue 1 in recent years -- Jhoanner Chávez, currently of Racing Club de Lens, ESTAC Troyes defender Jackson Porozo and former Dijon FCO attacker Aníbal Chalá. Chalá, after years in the proverbial international wilderness, was picked again in March, but hasn't made the cut here. The same is true for Chávez, with the youngster having struggled with injury and the strong form of Deiver Machado for Le Sang et Or this season. Porozo, who spent this season on loan at Turkish side Kasimpasa, has been retained by Félix Sánchez Bas, and he'll be ready to help La Tricolor battle for their first continental title.

Pot 3: Venezuela

A pair of familiar faces will be heading to the United States this week, led by Toulouse FC midfielder Cristian Cásseres. After a stellar season in which he helped Les Violets reach the knockout rounds of the UEFA Europa League and secure a place in midtable, he'll be looking to add to his 28 caps. He'll be joined by Jhonder Cádiz, now playing for Portuguese side Famalicão, but who spent the 2019/20 season on loan with Dijon FCO.

Pot 4: Jamaica

After a strong season with Clermont Foot, but one in which he was unable to help the Auvergne side avoid relegation, Nicholson will be looking to add to the 19 goals he's scored for the Reggae Boyz since making his debut in 2017, having found the net four times in Ligue 1 Uber Eats this season.
