Olympique de Marseille have announced an agreement in principle with former Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi
Olympique de Marseille announced on Monday night an agreement in principle with Roberto de Zerbi to take the vacant manager's position. Out of work since leaving English side Brighton and Hove Albion, the Italian manager has also worked with Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine and Sassuolo in Italy. More details about his appointment will be forthcoming following confirmation by the club.

De Zerbi's two seasons in Brighton saw the club reach the Round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League this season, topping a group which included Marseille and Ajax, following a seventh-place finish in 2022/23 which secured European football for the first time in the club's history.
